Director of Operations and Production | Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra -

Fort Worth, TX 2025-Present
Joined as Associate Production Manager; promoted to Director within first year.
• Help lead production and operations for 100+ symphonic events each year across the DFW region, including roughly 25 off-site full-orchestra events with 80-100 people per event and audiences up to 2,500.
• Oversee work tied to more than $10M in annual production and operations spending; forecast costs, approve payroll and purchases, work on contracts, confirm backline/equipment needs, and keep vendors aligned with production schedules.
• Led the approximately 3,000-person Amon Carter Summer Concert from planning through load-out, managing a $100K budget, 25 IATSE crew, 65 union musicians, 10 vendor overhire, permits, and licensing.
• Approve hours and payroll, evaluate and discipline employees, select department heads, adjust staffing/resources, and redirect plans when safety, contracts, budget, or operations require it.
• Created FWSO's venue walkthrough and advance process and review calendars against collective bargaining agreements to prevent avoidable overtime, fees, fines, and work-rule violations.
Production Manager | Arts Fort Worth - Fort Worth, TX 2018-2025
• Managed production and technical operations across eight galleries and two theaters, working with artists, renters, visiting companies, patrons, and community partners.
• Created the Original Works Series from the ground up: 1,000+ script submissions, 500+ readers, 16 theater companies, 50 live readings, and five scripts taken to full production. Personally produced all five and built each set.
• Funded the series through submission fees, prior revenue, and grants, creating paid work for 10+ production companies, 60+ actors, 30+ production staff, and five playwrights.

• Produced 200+ independent projects with direct responsibility for P&L, fundraising, budgets, ticket pricing, show selection, marketing, partnerships, and production. Built a loyal niche audience around a recognizable artistic point of view.
• Produced Waiting for Godot at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, raising and managing about $10K and handling travel and production logistics for a four-person cast and two-person crew during a six-day engagement.
• Built nightly Edinburgh audiences for an unknown U.S. company through street promotion, word of mouth, and direct audience engagement; personally created much of L.I.P. Service's media and marketing and collaborated with local artists on promotional design.

• Production managed a national tour with a 10-piece band, four performers, three touring crew, and local overhire; handled venue advances, riders, labor, freight, load-in/out, technical production, travel, payroll, vendors, rehearsals, show calls, and on-site troubleshooting.

Farmers Branch, TX 2012-2018
• Directed technical production for about 10 shows annually and opened unused midweek/between-run dates to outside companies and touring shows, adding revenue and new audiences without disrupting the regular season.
Technical Director | Artisan Center Theater - Hurst, TX 2007-2012
• Oversaw about 20 productions annually, including double-cast full-scale musicals performing six days per week. Built a parallel design/build workflow that allowed a Saturday closing to turn into a Wednesday opening - a three-day changeover without interrupting the season.

Director of Entertainment and Activities | Double JJ Ranch & Golf Resort - Rothbury, MI 2000-2007

• Helped replace a costly seasonal outside entertainment provider with an in-house, year-round operation; managed eight entertainment staff, eight counselors, and a 25-30 person lifeguard team while forecasting costs and managing the approved budget.
• Co-wrote and produced a 12-show Buffalo Bill-inspired Wild West attraction for 50-200 guests per show, working with a rodeo stock provider, handlers, wranglers, trick riders, specialty acts, live animals, audience games, and meet-and-greets; also performed the horseback ring-of-fire finale.

Entertainment Manager | Six Flags America -

Largo, MD 1997-2000
• Managed five shows performed five times daily with about 50 performers; recruited, hired, trained, scheduled, supervised, and disciplined staff while managing labor, payroll, rehearsals, safety, costumes, makeup, and show operations.
• Forecast, presented, and controlled a $1M+ annual entertainment budget and helped lead Fright Fest with roughly 250 seasonal employees. Created Western stunt programming and a scripted haunted train attraction.• Helped take the Batman Thrill Spectacular from an empty field through construction, coordination, operations, and opening day; held DC pyrotechnic certification for the production at the time.
